Job Summary

Leads the execution of pricing plans across all areas of the organization while overseeing the expansion and improvement of pricing capabilities and best-in-class processes. Manages the execution of the strategic pricing roadmap in collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Ensures efficient development and execution of pricing plans while driving enhancements across pricing practices, incorporating new data sources, and ensuring the most efficient and accurate processes are in place.
  • Develops and maintains a strategic roadmap for pricing initiatives in partnership with internal stakeholders, including efforts to advance and automate the price-setting process, pricing segmentation, annual financial planning, and tools and template development for the pricing team.
  • Acts as a thought leader for pricing strategy, tools, and process improvements.
  • Ensures execution of strategic pricing initiatives, including pricing sophistication, competitive pricing analysis, and pricing segmentation, while coordinating with pricing leaders and other areas as appropriate.
  • Drives discounting and rebate strategies and new product monetization approaches through pricing strategy and market insights, while facilitating pricing discussions with the leadership team.
  • Leads leaders and teams to include staffing model design, development, and performance management while identifying and driving operational efficiencies.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 10+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management role having significant business impact.
