Role

The Vice President - PCDO owns the output of the product from ARR to product strategy and development. The person is responsible for achieving the product's Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) goals, prioritizing, informing, and executing the product strategy and driving client engagement. 

The VP - PCDO is the product business owner and works closely with data, editorial teams, commercial teams, and product managers to ensure the product's success, delivering value to clients through its combined data and news component

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Leadership

  • Own Product ARR: Partner with the commercial team to develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed ARR targets for the PCDO product.
  • Strategic Planning & Prioritization: Define, implement, prioritise a comprehensive roadmap that aligns with company objectives and market trends.
  • Product Offering Designs: Responsible for articulating user needs, defining priorities, working through the product requirements and signing off on all product development plans.
  • Execution Excellence: Be the ultimate owner of existing and future product development initiatives from design to product launch partnering with the relevant stakeholders across Product Strategy, Product Management, Technology, Data Operations (ie. PCDO dashboard), and go-to-market teams. 

Stakeholder Management

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data, editorial, product, technology, and commercial teams to ensure seamless execution of product objectives, from design through go-to-market.
    • Lead the editorial product alignment effort globally.
    • Work with Data head to ensure data and editorial content form a complete and cohesive product offering.
  • Feedback Loop: Analyse client feedback to inform content and data development initiatives. Provide structured and actionable feedback to data and editorial managers to align news and data content with market needs.

Client Engagement

  • Market Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of client needs in private credit, M&A, and deal origination to inform product development.
  • Client Interaction: Engage directly with key clients to gather feedback, build relationships, and enhance the value proposition.

Innovation & Growth

  • Product Differentiation: Identify and prioritize opportunities to enhance the product’s unique value through innovation in news and data offerings.
  • Performance Monitoring: Use KPIs and data analytics to monitor performance, make data-driven decisions, and refine strategies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. ARR Growth: Achievement of revenue targets for the PCDO product
  2. Execution Metrics: Timely delivery of product initiatives and adherence to project timelines.
  3. Content & Data Alignment: Drive content alignment working with editorial/data/product teams.
  4. Client Feedback: Feedback from clients on the product collected by leaders/commercial teams.
  5. Engagement/Usage Metrics: Work with Business Information team to define and operationalize usage metrics to inform product initiatives, KPIs, and success metrics.
