The Vice President, Organic Growth will be responsible for overseeing, leading and driving the company’s organic growth strategy and execution including engagement with payors, physician partners, and brokers to drive membership enrollment and retainment. This leader serves as key advisor for all organic growth-related planning and monitoring of financial performance against annual targets, collaborating across business units to optimize performance and engagement with payors on organic growth strategy. Additionally, this role leads provider network operations to ensure accurate provider management data in support of financial reporting.  This role reports to the Chief Communications & Public Affairs Officer.

Essential Job Functions:

Organic Growth Strategy

  • Lead strategy for all market-facing organic growth activity development, planning and execution. Focused on traditional Medicare patients who are interested in exploring Medicare Advantage coverage, and patients who are new to Medicare and making initial coverage decisions to drive outsized growth and retention within each market.

  • Lead and drive market engagement tactics with providers, payors, and local brokers, working in collaboration with market leadership teams including strategic recommendations.

  • Lead and drive comprehensive management tactics to support potential contract terminations in collaboration with market leadership teams, partners and payor team.

  • Ensure adherence to all regulations. Oversee organizational adherence to all Medicare Communication and Marketing Guidelines in collaboration with Marketing & Communications including annual training of key stakeholders.

Organic Growth Operations:

  • Directly manage all infrastructure, reporting, results, and relationship with the national FMOs, national broker Call Centers, large regional brokers, and online marketplace vendors. Includes monthly lead reviews with each call center and broker collaborators

  • Create scalable reporting mechanisms to support local market needs and execution including analyzing data to identify opportunities.

  • Shares best practices and coaches market resources in successful execution of annual organic growth plans.

  • Builds and maintains all growth infrastructure in new markets including choosing and establishing broker relationships and implementing repeatable organic growth model in collaboration with Communications & Marketing and Market Implementation plan.

  • Leads execution and supports all markets in local market event strategies, such as Shop & Compare event planning and execution, as part of annual growth plan.

Payor Engagement and Attribution:

  • Engages with payor counterpart to support market growth strategies in collaboration with payor strategies team and market leadership teams.

  • Serves as senior advisor to national and local health plans on Medicare education and organic growth strategies. Creates growth and membership content for National Payor Quarterly JOCs in collaboration with Payor Strategy team.

  • Partner with finance and payor teams on attribution strategies to ensure membership is accurately appropriately attributed.

Provider Network Operations:

  • Lead and oversee provider network data management and reporting for the organization to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of our provider data to support financial and other reporting. 

  • Work with market team and partners to accurately catalog all provider data, ensuring accuracy in membership reporting and communication efforts.

Leadership Engagement:

  • Serve as advisor to Executive Leadership on financial targets/performance, infrastructure, management reporting and capabilities refinement for organic growth and provider network engagement.

  • Identifies areas where centralized services or large-scale regional brokers can support local market development.

Leading Teams:

  • Supervises Sr. Manager Organic Growth Operations and responsibilities related to Provider Network Operations and PCP data management and reporting.

  • The ability to attract and recruit top talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively, celebrate diversity within the team, and manage performance; widely viewed as a strong developer of others.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Experience

  • 10 + years successful experience attaining and surpassing goals in healthcare-related sales and operations management.

  • Managed care and physician engagement experience preferred.

Education/Licensure:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience or master’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience

  • Advanced certification or training

Travel:

  • Candidate must be able to travel nationally 25% of the time with trips out of the time zone.

Location:Remote - COPay Range:$183,600.00 - $229,500.00

Salary range shown is a guideline. Individual compensation packages can vary based on factors unique to each candidate, such as skill set, experience, and qualifications.
