Role summary: Lead end‑to‑end supply chain and manufacturing execution for the Personal Care business unit. Accountable for safe, compliant, on‑time manufacture and delivery of Personal Care products (≈$2.5B annual sales), oversight of 5 internal plants (including 1 in the UK) and ~59 contract manufacturers, and delivery of $25M in operational savings. This leader translates commercial and R&D priorities into supply chain execution, is the senior operational representative to commercial leadership and key customers and will continually operationalize integrations for new acquisitions across a broad set of regulated product categories.

Key accountabilities

  • Own operational delivery for Personal Care: safety, product quality, regulatory compliance, case‑fill/OTIF, inventory management and gross margin impacts across internal plants and external manufacturers.
  • Deliver $25M in operational savings through productivity, contract manufacturer governance, network/capacity optimization and cost‑to‑serve improvements.
  • Lead 0–12 month execution for forecasting, demand & supply planning, inventory management, launch readiness and logistics for Personal Care SKUs.
  • Manage contract manufacturing execution organization: selection, performance governance, quality/regulatory oversight, capacity planning and commercial fulfilment.
  • Ensure rapid, compliant time‑to‑market for NPDs and promotions in partnership with R&D and Quality — particularly critical for Beauty POD, TAG brands and regulated product launches.
  • Contribute to S&OP rigor, master data accuracy, and analytics‑driven decisions; accelerate adoption of digital supply‑chain tools to improve responsiveness and regulatory traceability.
  • Assimilate acquisitions into supply chain processes, systems, supplier base and regulatory dossiers into the operating model.
  • Build and lead a high‑performing supply chain organization (plant GMs, planning, contract manufacturing, quality/EHS, logistics and continuous improvement).
  • Represent Supply Chain in customer interactions, executive forums and regulatory/corporate escalations; own supply chain inputs to Personal Care P+L and G2G program implementation.

Scope & scale

  • Revenue influenced: $2.5B
  • Plants: 5 (including 1 UK)
  • Contract manufacturers: ~59 (across Beauty, Personal Care, TAG, VMS, other PODs)
  • SKUs: ~1,225 and growing (broad regulatory span)
  • Regulatory/product complexity: nasal sprays, condoms, pregnancy test kits, SPF skincare, oral care, over‑the‑counter and beauty products
  • Geographic scope: US with international supplier and plant engagement
  • Travel: up to ~40% (plant/CM/customer/regulatory site visits; occasional international travel)

Success metrics (first 12 months)

  • Realize $25M operational savings (phased milestones).
  • Meet or improve case‑fill / OTIF, inventory turns and service targets.
  • Maintain product quality and regulatory compliance (PPM, audit outcomes).
  • On‑time launch execution for prioritized NPDs and promotional programs.
  • Successful integration of at least one acquisition (process, supplier, quality assimilation) or clearly defined assimilation plan delivered.
  • Improved contract manufacturer compliance, yield and cost‑to‑serve metrics.

Decision rights / authorities

  • Set operational priorities across internal plants and contract manufacturers.
  • Approve production allocation plans, launch sequencing and escalation resolutions.
  • Lead contract manufacturer governance, performance remediation and supplier selection (in coordination with Procurement).
  • Recommend organization structure and staffing for Personal Care supply chain to senior leadership.

Required qualifications

  • 15+ years progressive supply chain leadership in global CPG / manufacturing; mandatory hands‑on plant management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi‑site manufacturing operations and complex external manufacturing networks.
  • Track record delivering operational savings and productivity improvements.

  • Strong cross‑functional stakeholder management (Commercial, R&D, Quality, Procurement, Finance) and executive presence.
  • Comfort with analytics and digital supply‑chain tools; data‑driven decision maker.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Science, Business or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred attributes

  • Experience in high‑growth environments and post‑acquisition integrations.
