Tektonux is seeking an experienced, highly strategic Vice President of Operations to lead and scale the operational engine of our growing technology company.
The VP of Operations will be responsible for translating company strategy into disciplined execution across people, processes, systems, and performance. This leader will establish scalable operating models, improve organizational efficiency, strengthen accountability, and ensure the company can grow rapidly while maintaining exceptional customer and employee experiences.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on strategic operator who combines strong business judgment with data-driven decision-making and a deep understanding of technology-enabled operations.
Essential Duties:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's operational strategy in partnership with the Division President.
- Translate corporate objectives into measurable operational plans, priorities, and KPIs.
- Build the organizational infrastructure required to support rapid and sustainable growth.
- Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities and develop plans to address them.
Operational Excellence
- Own and continuously improve core business processes, operating procedures, and workflows.
- Establish standardized operating rhythms, dashboards, KPIs, and accountability mechanisms.
- Drive initiatives that improve productivity, quality, customer experience, and speed of execution.
- Lead continuous-improvement and automation initiatives across the organization.
- Establish scalable processes that support growth without creating unnecessary complexity.
Technology & Systems
- Partner with the VP of IT and business leaders to ensure technology platforms support operational objectives.
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, analytics, and business applications to improve efficiency.
- Oversee operational systems, integrations, and technology-enabled workflows as appropriate.
- Ensure data is accessible, accurate, and actionable for operational decision-making.
- Lead or sponsor major systems implementations and operational transformation initiatives.
Financial & Business Management
- Develop and manage operational budgets and resource plans.
- Establish financial and operational KPIs and monitor performance against targets.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities while protecting quality and customer outcomes.
- Provide executive leadership with regular reporting, forecasts, and recommendations.
- Support annual planning, workforce planning, and strategic investment decisions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Product, Engineering, HR, and Technology.
- Create strong alignment between commercial objectives and operational capacity.
- Establish clear ownership, decision rights, and escalation processes across functions.
- Remove organizational barriers that prevent teams from executing effectively.
- Build a culture of accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
People & Organizational Leadership
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing operations teams.
- Establish organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities that scale with the business.
- Recruit, coach, and retain high-caliber operational leaders.
- Develop succession plans and strengthen the company's leadership bench.
- Promote a culture focused on customer outcomes, execution, collaboration, and measurable results.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, business operations, technology operations, or a related function.
- 5+ years leading senior managers or directors in a high-growth technology or technology-enabled organization.
- Demonstrated success scaling operations during periods of significant growth.
- Strong experience with KPIs, operational analytics, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable processes and operating models.
- Strong executive communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead across functional boundaries.
Preferred:
- Experience in SaaS, cloud, fintech, AI, enterprise software, or another technology-driven environment.
- Experience leading digital transformation, automation, or AI-enabled operational initiatives.
- Experience managing P&L or significant operating budgets.
- MBA or advanced degree.
