We are seeking a developed leader in Hospitality Management to join our team. The Vice President of Operations will oversee the leadership teams, finances, and strategic operations of our Dallas operations. This position will play a critical role in the success of our business by ensuring consistency across venues, expand current management development while expanding and enhancing current processes for finances, safety regulations, and compliance.

Primary Responsibilities including but not limited to the following: 

  • Function as the key point person for property leadership teams; support teams on all F&B related items including but not limited to budgets, financial performance, food safety, alcohol regulations, training, brand compliance, beverage compliance, menu compliance and adhering to Proof of the Pudding Standards
  • Representing Proof of the Pudding and our business objectives at partner meetings, networking and building relationships with clients and vendors
  • Continually monitor national and regional F&B trends to ensure food and beverage operations stay ahead of its primary competitors
  • Work closely with properties that are not meeting financial targets to provide an analysis of the problem and determine a specific plan of action.
  • Working with regional and Home Office leadership to drive innovation and best practices at the location
  • Coaching the operations management team
  • Overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of safety and sanitation in all activities across the location
  • Completing team member performance reviews including career development planning and compensation reviews
  • Responding to emails, phone calls and any associated administrative work corresponding with role responsibilities
  • Reviewing and processing any expense reports submitted by direct reports in Concur
  • Scheduling and frequenting meetings and visits to all venues, plus attending major events across all venues

Performs other related duties as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a multi-site food and beverage leadership role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and client relationship building skills
  • Multi-site experience with proven skills identifying operational & financial opportunities while showing success with action plan results.
  • Creative thinker while also having a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to travel domestically on a minimal, as-needed basis.

Work Environment 

This role consists of in-office work and traveling throughout various venues often via vehicle, golf cart, or similar. Office work consists of long periods of sitting at a desk, interdepartmental meetings, screen and phone usage, and communicating orally and through writing often. This position can work indoors, outdoors, and in temporary structured tents/buildings.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, moving throughout the venue, bending, lifting, and reaching as needed.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs.

Position Salary & Benefits:

  • The starting salary range for this position is $150,000-$175,000/year with opportunity for a percentage yearly bonus.
