Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for leading the TruStage Financial Annuity sales team and achieving increased sales and market share objectives. In addition, this role will serve as a key partner and contributor to annuity product line. As such it will participate in the prioritization and queuing of the major initiatives for the organization as well as providing input to the product, Information Technology, Operations, Strategy and Marketing groups on marketplace intelligence, pricing and sales needs. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute and maintain sales plans and programs for profitable distribution of annuity products and services through broker dealers (B/Ds) and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), via wholesaling and Institutional relationship management.
- Develop, execute and maintain a sales and marketing strategy to promote proprietary retail products to B/D’s and Consultants.
- Select, hire, lead, coach, and develop the annuity wholesaling team (Divisional Managers, Wholesalers and Internal Wholesalers). Provide timely and ongoing feedback through regular contact (including but not limited to traveling in the territory) to help each achieve success.
- Participate in the strategic management team activities which include goal setting, priority queuing, and resource allocation.
- Assist in the development and design of sales tools, presentation materials, literature pieces and sales programs for annuity products and services. Work with outside vendors to research, identify and deploy best practices and processes.

Job Requirements:
List of general education, background and experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities typically required to effectively perform the responsibilities of the job. Also include any required licenses and/or designations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent work experience.
- 15+years of experience in the financial services industry, with direct experience in the intermediary space with at least 5 in a managerial role.
- Life, Health and Variable insurance licensed; FINRA Securities Industry Essentials Examination; FINRA Series 24 or 26, 6 and 63 registrations required.
- Significant experience leading others in retail investment products and services sales environments.
- Demonstrated sales & marketing leadership in investments, and their appropriate applications within the context of a needs-based sales process.
- Demonstrated territory management, independence and organizational skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50-75% of the time over a large geographic area.

Base Salary Range:
$157,500.00 - $262,500.00
