Position Overview: The Vice President of Learning, Research and Assessments will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs and initiatives, focusing on digital and non-digital learning environments. The VP of Learning, Research and Assessments will be responsible for driving innovation in learning programs, ensuring alignment with educational standards, and enhancing the effectiveness of learning solutions through rigorous assessment and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Educational Technology Proficiency:
  • Leverage extensive knowledge of educational technology tools and platforms to design and deliver innovative learning programs.
  • Ensure the effective application of technology in creating engaging and impactful educational experiences.
Curriculum Development:
  • Lead the development and mapping of curricula to align with both local and international standards, focusing on personalized learning experiences and digital content integration.
  • Develop Schemes of Studies and curriculum frameworks for various digital delivery models.
Content Creation and Curation:
  • Oversee the creation, curation, and management of high-quality educational content that is pedagogically sound and meets curriculum standards.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of digital learning content to ensure alignment with local curricula and educational objectives.
Pilot Testing and Evaluation:
  • Coordinate and manage pilot testing initiatives for new educational content and technology solutions.
  • Develop and implement evaluation methodologies to assess the effectiveness of pilot programs, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
Implementation and Project Management:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of learning projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure the timely and successful launch of learning programs, coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Research and Strategic Planning:
  • Identify and analyze emerging trends, best practices, and opportunities in educational technology and learning science.
  • Use insights to inform strategic planning, decision-making, and the development of innovative learning solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create impactful learning programs and maintain effective partnerships.
  • Engage with educators, students, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure the relevance and effectiveness of learning initiatives.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze data to assess the performance and impact of learning programs.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for program enhancement and scaling.
Training and Development:
  • Design and deliver professional development programs for educators to enhance their skills in educational technology and learning design.
  • Support ongoing training and development to ensure effective implementation of learning solutions.

Technical Competencies

Educational Technology Expertise:
  • Proficient in using educational technology tools and platforms for learning program design and delivery.
Curriculum and Content Development:
  • Skilled in developing curricula and creating high-quality educational content aligned with educational standards.
Project Management:
  • Strong project management capabilities, including managing multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and resources.
Data Analysis and Evaluation:
  • Ability to analyze program performance data and use insights for continuous improvement.
Strategic Planning:
  • Competence in identifying and leveraging trends and best practices to inform strategic decisions and drive innovation.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Experience in engaging with various stakeholders to develop and enhance learning programs.
Pilot Testing:
  • Experience in planning, executing and evaluating pilot programs for new educational content and technology.

Education and Experience
  • Advanced degree in Education, Educational Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in educational program management and development, including 5+ years in a leadership role​
