This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 3 days minimum per week in the office.
We are in search of a leader who takes initiative and can effectively lead our platform engineering organization. The Vice President, IT Platform Engineering (Boston) will play a foundational role in helping shape our technology strategy and drive engineering excellence across IT. This individual will be responsible for supervising engineering teams responsible for architecture, workflow platforms, and DevOps systems. The best fit for this role will be a dynamic leader with a strong background in Software Development and Architecture, a demonstrated history of success of leading high-performing teams, and the ability to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

What you will do:
- Guide and support an outstanding engineering team to achieve platform strategy success.
- Develop and implement ambitious engineering roadmaps and initiatives
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and flawless performance
- Drive innovation and optimization of our platform technologies
- Ensure the ongoing maintenance, stability, and performance of existing systems
- Ensure consistent alignment with standard methodologies in software development and engineering.
- Coordinate all aspects of the end-to-end lifecycle of platform projects
- And other responsibilities as required
What you bring:
- Consistent track record in leading and managing engineering teams
- Extensive experience in platform engineering and technology development
- Outstanding abilities in long-term planning and implementation
- Strong expertise in agile methodologies and project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to compete in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps infrastructure
- Proficiency in programming languages and software development tools
- Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture
- Demonstrated success in driving innovation and continuous improvement
Education Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 10+ Years of experience leading Engineering or Architecture teams or a related capacity preferred
- 5+ Years of experience in Financial Services.
