Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:


As Vice President, GTM Operations, you provide strategic and operational leadership in the execution of Arc’teryx go-to-market (GTM) strategy. You will develop and lead your GTM operations team and drive the creation, development, and execution of the GTM process. In partnership with strategy, merchandising, commerce, and marketing, you drive the strategic execution to optimize a high performing cross functional organization and execute the season.

The GTM team optimizes the intersection of all cross-functional teams to improve alignment, communication, and processes.  We build a foundation for excellence through reinforcing product strategy with metrics, infrastructure, business processes, best practices, tools, budgeting and reporting.

If you were the Vice President, Go-to-Market (GTM) Operations now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Building a high performing team to create and implement a compelling and innovative world class GTM strategy
  • Ensuring the Product, Creative, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams have clarity of timelines and deliverables, while championing a culture of continuous challenge, improvement, and growth
  • Liaising with business analysts and systems architects within functional teams to ensure current and future solutions are systematically aligned with future business processes and capabilities.
  • Collaborating with and supporting Leadership on identifying areas of process improvement, business calendar, and team structure requirements
  • Partnering with Product Operations to ensure cohesion between both the strategy and execution of the product creation process and the GTM calendar
  • Identifying opportunities for others to lead and mentor team members
  • Leading budget planning, tracking and reporting and identifying budget allocation gaps across cross-functional creation teams
  • Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain

Are you our next Vice President, GTM Operations?

  • You have 15+ years’ experience in Apparel and/or Footwear product creation, including 8+ years in a leadership role, with a complete understanding of the product lifecycle process
  • You have a proven track record in leading the execution of business strategy
  • You have a proven ability to influence and collaborate with a group of cross-functional stakeholders
  • You have strong business acumen, with the ability to lead in a complex matrix business environment
  • You have proven people leadership skills and the ability to build, coach and guide a diverse and high performing team
  • You set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to these objectives
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
