What You'll Do- Lead the development and execution of effective external communications strategies that support Aristocrat’s business objectives and improve our corporate reputation.
- Provide critical communications advice and support to senior leaders, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Coordinate the implementation of global external communications programs, including media and reputation management strategies.
- Coordinate with communications teams across the globe to ensure accurate and timely media responses.
- Manage and develop the External Communications team, ensuring efficient prioritization and vendor management.
- Drive external communications initiatives related to Sustainability and Responsible Gameplay in collaboration with key collaborators.
- Handle media enquiries, issues management, and provide crisis communications support.
- Anticipate emerging challenges and champion continuous improvement in communication practices.
- Measure the efficiency of global external communications using data and analytics to find opportunities for improvement.
- Support the preparation of market materials, Group publications, and disclosures, bringing them to bear within regions and business units as needed.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned to assist the Communications & Corporate Brand team’s objectives.
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in Corporate Affairs and/or Communications leadership roles within complex businesses, ideally with international experience.
- Proven track record of successfully setting and accomplishing communication strategies.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to anticipate business requirements and develop proactive communication solutions.
- Strong issues management experience, including leading crisis communications and media/reputation management.
- Experience managing external collaborators and diverse internal audiences.
