Shape the Voice of the Future of AI Cloud

We are seeking a Vice President of Global Communications to lead and scale a world-class communications function, guiding how CoreWeave shows up in the market, the media, the enterprise, and the public sphere. This is a pivotal role for a seasoned communications executive with deep experience in tech, infrastructure, AI—and the high-stakes world of post-IPO storytelling and reputation management.

This executive will report directly to the CMO and work closely with the CEO, CFO, legal, IR, and product leadership to shape external narratives, protect brand trust, and elevate CoreWeave’s presence with media, analysts, employees, and the global investment community.

Key Responsibilities

This role will own and drive the company’s narrative, positioning CoreWeave as a leader in cloud computing and AI infrastructure while fostering engagement across key audiences.

🧭 Strategic Communications & Public Company Narrative
  • Build and lead a modern, multi-channel global communications strategy that supports CoreWeave’s brand, product, investor, and market reputation goals.
  • Own CoreWeave’s corporate messaging platform across public and private audiences—ensuring alignment between financial communications, product positioning, and cultural messaging.
  • Develop integrated communications plans for product launches, earnings cycles, partnerships, leadership visibility, and strategic milestones.
  • Lead reputation positioning around CoreWeave’s innovation story in AI infrastructure, developer platforms, and performance cloud.
  • Manage and optimize CoreWeave’s social media channels to enhance engagement, brand credibility, and community building.
  • This role will work across the company with legal, HR and finance on communications strategy
📰 Media Relations, PR, and High-Stakes Visibility
  • Lead all global media strategy and execution—driving earned media with Tier 1 business, tech, financial, and trade press.
  • Build and manage CoreWeave’s external agency network, providing strategic guidance and operational oversight.
  • Secure placements, exclusives, and contributed content that amplify product innovation, leadership credibility, and financial milestones.
  • Serve as a trusted spokesperson and senior media liaison for the company and build ongoing relationships with key influencers for amplification and engagement programs.
👔 Executive & Financial Communications
  • Shape and amplify the voices of CoreWeave’s executives, ensuring they are positioned as thought leaders through speaking opportunities, media engagements, social media and digital presence.
  • Partner with IR and finance teams to ensure messaging consistency around earnings, guidance, and market outlook.
  • Craft high-impact keynote scripts, shareholder-facing communications, op-eds, and media talking points for the CEO and executive team.
  • Guide the company's public voice during post-IPO scaling, ensuring communications meet public market expectations for clarity, consistency, and compliance.
🛡️ Crisis & Issues Management
  • Lead CoreWeave’s crisis comms strategy, including scenario planning, response frameworks, and cross-functional alignment with legal and leadership.
  • Act as lead comms counsel during critical moments: product incidents, market volatility, legal issues, workforce events, and more.
  • Develop repeatable reputation risk protocols in line with public company requirements and stakeholder expectations.
Who You Are
  • 15+ years in strategic communications, public relations and proven leadership roles in tech, infrastructure, cloud, or AI companies, ideally at both private and public stages.
  • Deep experience navigating the public markets communications environment, including collaboration with IR, legal, and finance in risk mitigation especially in a post-IPO setting.
  • Track record of leading media strategy, executive comms, and crisis response at the highest levels of visibility.
  • A trusted advisor to C-suite & boards; operating with discretion, judgment, and credibility.
  • Exceptional storyteller and editor with clear, concise, and strategic written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience managing executive communications and thought leadership programs.
  • Able to translate complex technology (AI, infrastructure, developer tools) into narratives that resonate with media, analysts, customers, and investors.
  • Experienced in agency leadership, comms operations, and comms team scaling in high-growth environments
  • Expertise in leveraging social media for corporate and executive branding.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to measure and optimize communication strategies for impact.
  • Experience managing agency partners and external vendors.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $275,000-$330,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
