This role is responsible for planning and executing capital plans to manage and optimise the Group’s capital in line with external stakeholders’ expectations and to support business growth and strategic initiatives. It oversees capital raising, allocation across the Group, countries, and business units to maximise organic capital growth. The role also provides regional oversight of Exco capital deployment and regulatory capital for the Group and its banking subsidiaries across Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam
Skills Required
- Experience planning and executing group-level capital plans and capital optimization
- Proven track record in capital raising and capital allocation across business units and jurisdictions
- Deep knowledge of regulatory capital frameworks for banking across Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam
- Senior leadership experience within banking or financial services, including oversight of Exco-level capital deployment
- Ability to coordinate cross-border stakeholders and support strategic growth initiatives
