We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Seeking a seasoned Engineer with deep expertise in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL, and a strong hands-on background in Eagle, particularly Eagle Reference Data Center (RDC), Automation Center, Uploader, and Message Center. The ideal candidate will own the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and stored procedures supporting security reference data, corporate actions, and downstream fund accounting processes. This role partners closely with operations, accounting, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and well-governed data capabilities in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions for security reference data, corporate action entitlement and processing, and related fund accounting needs.
- Model and maintain Eagle database; ensure alignment with the Eagle data model and downstream consumption patterns.
- Build robust, scalable data ingestion pipelines and transformation logic across Eagle RDC and Eagle Automation Center; implement monitoring, alerting, and recovery processes.
- Partner with business and operations teams to interpret security master and corporate action requirements; translate them into technical design and data workflows.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and remediation for production incidents; improve resiliency through performance tuning, indexing strategies, and partitioning.
- Establish and maintain development standards, code reviews, and documentation across Confluence and version control (git).
- Work within Agile teams using Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery tracking; contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tooling.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- 5+ years of experience working with the Eagle application, including:
- Eagle Reference Data Center (RDC): deep understanding of the security reference data model and data strategies.
- Eagle Uploader and Message Center: loading/ingestion workflows, error handling, and reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of Eagle database tables and the Eagle data model; ability to map business requirements to Eagle structures.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience developing in SQL, with strong command of query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and data modeling.
