Vice President of Finance

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on finance leader to join us as VP of Finance. In this role, you’ll lead all financial operations across the company—helping us make smart decisions, stay ahead of growth, and drive long-term value. This is not a back-office finance role; it’s a core executive function that helps shape how the business operates, scales, and succeeds globally.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will act as a financial steward and strategic partner, helping us navigate market opportunities, operational risk, and long-range planning. You’ll manage a growing team and own everything from forecasting and budgeting to compliance, reporting, and investor relations.

As we scale, financial clarity and operational discipline are more critical than ever. The VP of Finance will:

• Translate business complexity into clear financial strategies and decision frameworks.
• Build and scale processes, systems, and structures that empower teams to move fast and confidently.
• Drive alignment across revenue, product, operations, and executive teams.
• Ensure we’re building not just a profitable company, but a durable one.

• Partner with the CFO and executive team on company strategy, capital allocation, and long-term financial planning.
• Own financial forecasting, scenario planning, and business modeling for all major initiatives.
• Deliver actionable insights to guide decisions around growth, product investment, hiring, and international expansion.
  

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounting, FP&A, budgeting, tax, and treasury.
• Develop scalable systems for financial reporting, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Ensure full transparency into financial performance, risks, and levers across the company.
  

• Collaborate with GTM teams (including Sales, Marketing, Account Management) to connect financial planning with topline growth.
• Support product and operations teams with cost modeling, pricing frameworks, and ROI analysis.
• Work closely with HR and Operations to align financial strategy with headcount planning and team scalability.
  

• Lead financial due diligence and modeling for potential investors, board meetings, or M&A activity.
• Serve as the primary liaison for auditors, legal counsel, banking partners, and other external stakeholders.
• Maintain the company’s financial integrity while balancing innovation and responsible risk-taking.

• 10+ years in finance leadership roles, with experience at high-growth SaaS, fintech, or B2B technology companies.
• Strong background in FP&A, strategic finance, accounting, and treasury.
• Proven track record in building financial infrastructure for a scaling company, preferably in global or multi-entity environments.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence at the board level while empowering execution on the ground.
• Analytical mindset with a clear understanding of how financial inputs affect business outcomes.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and scaling finance teams across regions or functions.
• Fluent in both English and Japanese; experience working in global organizations is a plus.
