Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of VP – Digital Workplace Solutions within Information Technology Department under Asian Systems Office.

The successful candidate will be part of a growing dynamic regional team that is in charge of IT development and support functions. This role is key to our strategy to drive digital transformation within ASO and for our business.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Transformation Solutions, you will lead the team that will drive the primary initiatives pertaining to transformation.

  • Build and manage the teams responsible for the different initiatives in technology liaising with other departments.
  • Manage a team of professionals based in Singapore and India to execute and deliver improvements as per our regional strategy
  • Implement regional enterprise-wide solutions across multiple locations closely engaging with the business counterparts.
  • Lead by example using a hands-on approach to showcase and drive change
  • Lead the process improvements required to enable implementation of the solutions
  • Identify use cases within the bank where the new technologies can be applied for future-readiness.
  • Be a change champion to promote new ways of working leveraging technology solutions.
  • Responsible for the performance and stability of the applications managed in production.

Job Requirements:

  • Min 12 years of IT experience in the area of application development with experience in putting together and leading teams based onsite OR remotely.
  • Experience in API design and implementation for consumption by internal and external applications and customers.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and other applications in the M365 suite designed to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Experience in the corporate banking environment driving digital solutions regionally
  • Experience in project management experience to be able to plan, track and drive delivery of solutions on time and within budget.
  • Experience in dealing with applications relating to corporate banking domain for both internal users and customers.
  • Experience in Cloud based technologies would be an advantage. Primarily for banking applications deployed on the Cloud in any of the APAC countries providing services to the bank users OR their customers.
  • Has good practical experience in implementing and using Intelligent Document Processing, Robotic Process Automation platforms from Kofax (Tungsten Automation), UIPath, Automation Anywhere etc.
  • Good technical skills and working knowledge in Java, Python, SQL scripts and familiarity with the Windows and Linux environment.
  • Technically competent to be able to get into the details of the designing of the solution liaising with our internal teams and vendors.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, self-organizing and possess drive, ability to be hands-on and a good team player
  • Experience in liaising with off-shore teams, infrastructure teams and other personnel for implementation of solutions.
