The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Demand Partnerships with a proven track record of driving revenue and go-to-market programmatic strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem and a passion for leveraging data and analytics to inform strategic decisions. As the Vice President of Demand Partnerships, you will play a crucial role in shaping Nativo's growth by leading our programmatic initiatives and being one of the key faces for the company's programmatic business in-market. You will oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of DSP strategies to maximize advertising reach and efficiency while aligning with our business objectives. This position requires a visionary leader who can identify market opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and champion innovative solutions.
In this role, you will build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative culture focused on creativity and continuous improvement. Your strong analytical skills will guide the development of data-driven frameworks for assessing campaign performance and optimizing bidding strategies. Your business development instincts will help develop and grow relationships with key decision-makers at the DSP. Collaborating closely with engineering, product, sales, and marketing teams, you will ensure our programmatic efforts align with client needs. Staying current with industry trends and regulatory changes, you will drive innovation and maintain Nativo's competitive edge. What You'll Do
DSP Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and execute Nativo's comprehensive DSP (Demand-Side Platform) strategy, encompassing platform selection, integration, and ongoing optimization to drive advertising effectiveness and ROI.
Business Development and Partnerships: Foster and develop relationships with key decision-makers at DSP and be a face and voice in-market for Nativo.
Data Management and Utilization: Oversee the strategic management and utilization of both first-party and third-party data sources to enhance targeting capabilities and personalize advertising efforts, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
Campaign Planning and Execution: Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of programmatic advertising campaigns across diverse channels and formats, aligning with client objectives and KPIs.
Performance Analysis and Optimization: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, leveraging data insights to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements, and making data-driven recommendations for future campaigns.
Technology Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure seamless integration of DSPs within Nativo's proprietary technology stack, optimizing operational efficiency and maintaining data integrity.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of DSP specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Provide guidance, training, and growth opportunities to empower team members and drive high performance.
Industry Insight and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in programmatic advertising. Proactively identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate Nativo's offerings, keeping the company at the forefront of industry advancements.
What You'll Bring
Strategic Vision: A proven track record of developing and executing successful demand-side advertising strategies that align with overarching business objectives. Demonstrated ability to set a strategic direction, establish measurable goals, and pivot as necessary to respond to market dynamics and client needs.
Leadership Excellence: A minimum of 7 years of experience leading high-performing teams within the programmatic advertising space, with a focus on mentorship and professional development. Proven experience in fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability, empowering team members to achieve individual and collective success.
Adtech Expertise: A deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), ad exchanges, Data Management Platforms (DMPs), and Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs). Familiarity with industry standards and best practices, as well as emerging technologies and trends that influence programmatic advertising.
Programmatic Mastery: Extensive experience with header bidding and real-time bidding (RTB) technologies, including hands-on experience optimizing bidding strategies for various inventory sources. Knowledge of programmatic direct and private marketplace (PMP) deals, with the ability to enhance campaign performance through advanced bidding techniques.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in leveraging advanced data analytics and business intelligence tools to inform strategic decisions and drive operational efficiency. Experience in developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and using analytics to assess campaign performance, audience engagement, and overall impact on business objectives.
Technical Proficiency: Solid experience with programmatic ad buying platforms and technologies, including familiarity with integrations and workflows between DSPs, DMPs, and CRM systems. Ability to collaborate with technical teams to implement and optimize programmatic solutions effectively.
Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of DSP specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Experience in setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and recognizing team achievements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to programmatic advertising, including privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for data usage and targeting. Active engagement in industry forums, conferences, and publications to stay ahead of developments in the adtech landscape.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and product development, to ensure alignment on campaign objectives, resource allocation, and overall business strategy.
Client-Focused Mindset: A strong client-oriented approach with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, understanding client needs, and translating those needs into effective programmatic strategies that drive client satisfaction and retention.

Nativo is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The starting pay range for this role is $192,000 - $230,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years of experience, certifications, and specific location. The starting pay range may differ by location.
