The successful candidate will work under the Regional Enterprise Architecture Department. He/She will lead the design and development of Data and Analytics Architecture, and promote data driven culture. He/She will formulate the Organization’s data management and governance strategy, policies, and standards to support the short-term and long-term data strategic plan, investment, and data enterprise architecture roadmap.

  • Design and develop modern data and analytics platform
  • Design and develop Data and Analytics architecture blueprint, Policy, Standards and Procedures for the organization.
  • Define data management and governance framework.
  • Design solution architecture across specific business applications or technologies based on enterprise business strategy, capabilities, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with security and risk teams to develop/update/promote Data Security Policies and Standards which are aligned to Organization’s Security Procedure and Practices.
  • Provide consulting support to Project’s business/application/Technology Architects to ensure solution’s alignment to overall Data Enterprise Architecture Policy and Standards.
  • Understands technology trends and its practical application to existing and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operation models.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of data architecture experiences in the banking industry.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in modern AI, analytics, big data and associated technologies, cloud platforms, data quality, governance, data strategy and architecture
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in design and implementation of modern data warehouse and Data Lake/Big Data Technology such as Microsoft Fabrics, Teradata, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Oracle DW, Cloudera.
  • Deep understanding of Modern Data Platform
  • Experience in developing Data Enterprise Architecture Policy, Standards and Procedures for global bank.
  • Experience in designing complex Data Architecture Design.
  • Experience in developing Data Governance model for data Profiling, data quality, data catalogue, data tagging, data glossary and data lineage
  • Deep understanding in Data Management framework with strong focus on Data availability, quality, integrity, usability, security.
  • A strong understanding in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling. Well versed in data modelling techniques (Kimball) in both Entity Relationship data model and dimensional data model
  • Experience in database technologies such as AWS RDS, MS SQL, DB2, Oracle DB, MySQL, MongoDB/ NoSQL
  • Experience in Data transformation / integration, BI, Data Analytics, Reporting, Machine Learning toolsets such as, Talend, Alteryx, Business Objects, Informatica, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
  • Experience in data streaming technology using, Kafka, Tibco.
  • Experience in Data Virtualization Technology (Denodo)
  • Experience with machine learning, NLP and deep learning modelling.
  • Knowledge in data mesh and data product, and data marketplace
  • Strong presentation and technical documentation, and project management skills.
  • Experience in Application Data Integration using Enterprise Service Bus and/or API Management.
  • Familiar with TOGAF concept with practical experience in full TOGAF cycle implementation.
  • Familiar with Financial Regulator’s Data Governance Policy and MAS TRM.
