Essential Job Functions
- Works collaboratively with the Integrated Health and Supportive Housing Executive Team to lead, develop, manage, and supervise community services across all areas under their direction in accordance with applicable policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors, program funders, and management staff.
- Hires, trains, and supervises the Director of Ft. Lyon, Director of Transitional Housing, Director of Department of Outreach and Engagement, Associate Director of Employment Services, and the Manager of Rural Initiatives.
- Serves as an active member of the Integrated Health and Supportive Housing Executive Team and Organizational Executive Team to promote and ensure integration with and access to health care, supportive housing, and community services provided by CCH.
- Participates in strategic planning and development of trauma-informed community, recovery, and outreach services across CCH, to include identification of unmet needs, creation and implementation of streamlined client intake processes, and integration of all community services into programs across CCH.
- Participates in statewide initiatives that seek to expand housing and homeless services in rural communities across the state.
- Works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Program Directors in budget development.
- Works closely with Program Directors and Grants Analysts to monitor and adjust grant budgets as needed to maximize program impact, effectively spend down available funding, and avoid budget deficits.
- Oversees supervision provided by Program Directors, fostering a mission-driven culture, providing staff development assistance, and working with Human Resources to swiftly resolve employee relations challenges. Reviews and approves decision-making within programs.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications Summary
- Clinical education or Master’s degree welcomed.
- 3+ years’ experience/expertise in evaluating, developing and sustaining housing, health care or support services programs, integrated approach preferred.
- Experience working in organizations serving marginalized communities, social justice, healthcare, or human services preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiating and mediating, particularly in sensitive situations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with respective stakeholders including finalizing applications to meet submission deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, social services or other related field required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing multi-million dollar organizational or program budgets.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising a multi-disciplinary management team to drive organizational goals.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing multiple housing and/or human services programs simultaneously.
- Extensive experience leading and developing management teams
- Demonstrated experience hiring and developing staff, coaching, evaluating performance, setting goals, and measuring success.
- Valid Colorado driver's license is required.

What We Do
The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the causes and consequences of homelessness in Colorado. They provide a comprehensive approach that includes housing, integrated healthcare, substance use treatment, employment services, and childcare. Their mission is to improve the health, well-being, and stability of individuals and families experiencing homelessness through compassionate, patient-centered care and advocacy for justice and long-term housing stability.
