As our Vice President of Commercial Planning, will drive strategic pursuits and business development activities that shape our future. As a visionary leader, you'll understand customer needs, key stakeholders, and decision makers, crafting bespoke engagement models and value propositions that resonate. Every day, you will oversee all aspects of the commercial process, from initial meetings to onboarding, ensuring timely and high-quality achievement of milestones. Partner with our Chief Commercial Officer and other executive leaders to deliver compelling value propositions that expand our enterprise partnerships.

Here’s What You Can Expect

  • Oversee the entire commercial process for strategic pursuits, from initial meetings through RFP, pitch, contracting, and onboarding.
  • Partner with R1 executive leadership, including the Chief Commercial Officer and SVP Enterprise Partnerships, to deliver compelling value propositions and expand enterprise partnerships.
  • Create and advance executive-level presentation materials, showcasing R1's capabilities and communicating partnership value effectively.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, marketing, legal, and other teams to support company growth, annual priorities, and drive revenue and brand goals.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strategic mindset with a deep understanding of revenue cycle operations, R1 value proposition, and market dynamics, complemented by strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create executive-level, commercial-grade presentations and effectively articulate value propositions.
  • Exhibit proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects, foster teamwork, and operate independently with sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $197,760.00 - $254,682.40 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 30.00%
