About the Role

The Vice President of Clinical Operations serves as the senior operational leader for clinical operations, accountable for day-to-day execution, operational readiness, financial discipline, and continuous improvement across the care delivery models. The role acts as the bridge between executive leadership, care delivery, clinic teams, product/technology partners, legal, marketing, and external stakeholders to ensure that strategic priorities translate into consistent, measurable, and patient-centered operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, manage, and optimize the day-to-day operations of the Dental, Vision, Audiology, and Podiatry service lines, ensuring that services are delivered effectively and efficiently across all departments in support of the organizational mission and vision
  • Work closely with leadership team to translate operational strategies with organizational goals into fiscally responsible and patient centered delivery. Lead the implementation of key initiatives to improve patient care, operational workflows and service delivery
  • Lead the planning and execution of key projects and strategies, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resources are managed effectively to achieve desired outcomes
  • Analyze productivity, capacity, access, and other financial/operational indicators to identify opportunities and develop operating procedures for scalable and sustainable operations
  • Partner with product, technology, analytics, clinical leadership, and frontline teams to test, measure, and scale new tools, workflows, automation, and operating models
  • Prepare concise executive-level updates, operating reviews, and stakeholder presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Lead, mentor and develop a multi-service line team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth. Perform annual evaluations for direct reports, providing feedback and setting goals
  • Collaborate with legal counsel and executive stakeholders on compliance, contract management, operational risk, implementation commitments, and partner obligations
  • Examine M&A candidates for synergy and best practice opportunities during due diligence and establish clear operational integrations, timelines, and escalation pathways 

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or related discipline) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience, including responsibility for multi-site operations, budget management, service-line growth, and organizational transformation.
  • Leadership experience in healthcare/practice operations, senior nursing facility, assisted living facility, post-acute care, or comparable multi-site service delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale operational initiatives, strategic growth efforts, and cross-functional teams in a complex healthcare environment with the ability to move complex work from strategy through implementation, adoption, measurement, and sustainment.
  • Demonstrated success leading operational growth, new program launches, service-line expansion, and cross-functional transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing $20M+ dollar operating budgets, financial performance, workforce planning, and operational strategy strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using operational, financial, and experience data to identify risks, prioritize work, and drive decisions.
  • Clear, executive-ready communication style with the ability to simplify complexity for different audiences.
  • Experience in credentialling, scheduling and scheduled optimization, medical logistics, and vendor procurement
  • Computer Skills – proficient use of Outlook, Microsoft products including Teams, Word, Excel, and able to build quick proficiency in NextGen EMR and Salesforce 

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer.
  • Required travel up to 10%
  • This is a full-time position working standard business hours Monday – Friday.
