As a Vice President for Artificial Intelligence for Data Management, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming our data management practices. As a Vice President for Artificial Intelligence for Data Management, you will support the strategic roadmap and delivery of AI solutions. You will partner with leadership across firmwide teams, lines of business, and corporate functions to enable data management transformation. With a background in data science or a related technical field, you will bring an innovative mindset to this strategic role.
Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and define model requirements for AI/ML solutions
  • Apply AI/ML and LLM techniques to design and develop models for use across business lines and corporate functions
  • Work with data science and technology teams to deploy and scale models in production
  • Understand data life cycles and collaborate with various teams to build scalable, automated solutions
  • Present modeling results to business and technical stakeholders through written, visual, and oral communication
  • Stay updated with the latest research in LLM, ML, and data science, and leverage emerging techniques
  • Drive execution and delivery of innovative AI products to accelerate value realization


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
  • 8 years of hands-on experience implementing AI models in financial services, data/technology, or related industry
  • Strong technical background with expertise in data quality, data management, and data contracts
  • Knowledge of data mesh architecture and data product concepts
  • Deep domain expertise in clients, products, services, and data applications
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to articulate business needs to technical leadership and vice versa


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Proficiency in data management tools
  • Familiarity with data governance and regulatory requirements (e.g., BCBS 239, GDPR, CCPA)
  • Strong product management and project management skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage stakeholder expectations
