About the role

The Program Coordinator, Education leads the delivery of nationally recognised VET programs across University campuses, supporting curriculum quality, compliance, staff capability and positive learner outcomes while maintaining a teaching and assessment load.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of PC Education programs across campuses, ensuring high-quality training, assessment and learner support.
  • Support and mentor trainers and assessors to build capability, consistency and strong teaching practice.
  • Deliver teaching and assessment as part of an agreed workload, modelling effective VET practice.
  • Coordinate curriculum planning, learning resources, assessment validation and continuous improvement activities.
  • Monitor student engagement, progression and outcomes to support learner success.
  • Ensure programs meet RTO Standards, VET Quality Framework, AQF, Training Package requirements and University policies.
  • Build effective relationships with schools, employers, placement providers, industry partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day program operations, including staffing, timetabling, resources, assessment scheduling and reporting.
Qualifications, skills & experience

Essential

  • Relevant qualification in Education, Education Support, Community Services or a related field, with suitable vocational industry experience.
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40116 or TAE40122.
  • Experience coordinating VET programs within an RTO, including teaching, assessment, curriculum development, quality assurance and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of VET, competency-based training, adult learning principles, RTO Standards, the VET Quality Framework, AQF and Training Package requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and support trainers and assessors to deliver quality teaching and assessment.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Ability to use learner and program data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Confident using learning management systems, student management systems, Microsoft Office and educational technologies.

Desirable

  • Experience coordinating programs across multiple campuses or locations.
  • Postgraduate qualification in education, leadership or a related field.
