The Verification Engineer IV supports the scope of development, design, test, and manufacturing of Honeybee Robotics’ electronic Motion Control products. This individual will participate in multi-disciplinary project teams to lead the verification of motor control systems, including individual verification design tasks, participating in design reviews, documenting verification architectures, designs and results. This includes reviewing the work and tasks of other team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited technical college or university in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in supporting test generation for debug of prototype development in a lab environment
- System Verilog, UVMs and VHDL
- Score boarding, code coverage and bus functional models
- Directed and constrained random testing techniques
- Board-level communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, CAN)
- Documentation (Test Procedures & Reports, Interface Control Documents, ECOs)
- Source control systems (Git, SVN)
- Additional software languages (C, C++, Python)
- System and derived requirements generation, verification, and validation
- Brushed/Brushless DC Motor control
- MATLAB/Simulink
Experience with verification for embedded systems, including:
Familiarity with:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing motion control and electromechanical systems for space environments
- DO-254 and/or DO-178
- Verification testing on FPGA designs for space environments
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Radiation hardening and mitigation techniques for FPGAs (SEU, TMR)
