Job Description
The Commercial & Investment Banking (CIB) Technology - Vendor Management Organization (VMO) is responsible for scoping and driving the vendor management strategy, including software and labor, and executing vendor-related processes across CIB Technology. The Central Processing team within the VMO manages data related to contracts, consultants, invoicing, and more, partnering closely with Line of Business (LOB) vendor relationship managers.

Collaborate with technology managers, finance and business managers, and sourcing teams to optimize vendor performance and drive continuous process improvement. As a Vendor Management Analyst in the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will support the Central Processing team within the VMO by managing data related to contracts, consultants, and invoicing. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data integrity, support purchase order processing, and enable continuous process improvement across the vendor management space.
Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the roadmap to own and manage data for a particular LOB, including contracts and processes like contracting, approvals, on-boarding, invoicing, and reporting.
• Support day-to-day stakeholder and vendor relationships, governance, and controls, including analysis and reporting.
• Ensure data integrity within the Central Management Data Base (CMDB) and perform analytics and reporting based on this data.
• Support purchase order and invoice processing, including initiation, validation, and tracking using tools like Ariba and Beeline.
• Achieve optimal commercial and quality delivery from vendors.
• Enable continuous process improvement by maturing existing processing and reporting functions.
• Maintain a strong control posture relative to vendor exposure and risk.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to complete reporting and analytics accurately and timely.
• Proficiency with at least one Microsoft product, such as Excel or Access.
• Understanding and ability to create basic SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

• Experience with Alteryx or Tableau.
• Experience with Ariba and/or Beeline systems.
• Experience in designing or maintaining a SharePoint site.
