POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mobility Vehicle Sales Consultant is responsible for generating sales of mobility-adapted vehicles and related products through a consultative sales approach. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, self-generating leads, and guiding customers through the vehicle mobility process to deliver solutions that enhance independence and quality of life. The Consultant actively manages the full sales cycle, from lead generation through vehicle delivery and post-sale follow-up.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The essential functions listed below represent the primary duties of the position. Duties may vary based on assignment and business needs.

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals through a consultative vehicle mobility sales process
  • Generate and manage leads through self-directed marketing, networking, and CRM-driven follow-up
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with customers, referral sources, and key influencers
  • Prepare accurate quotations, sales agreements, and coordinate vehicle and product deliveries
  • Demonstrate vehicles and mobility products at delivery, ensuring customer understanding and completion of all required documentation
  • Manage and respond to all inbound digital and in-person leads through the CRM system, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete documentation of all customer interactions
  • Meet or exceed company-defined response time standards for all inbound leads, including same-day and rapid follow-up expectations
  • Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) performance by delivering consistent, professional, and customer-focused experience throughout the sales process

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or automotive-related fields preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of direct-to-consumer product sales experience
  • Working knowledge of the automobile industry, including fleet or commercial vehicle experience
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-step sales processes
  • Marketing experience with a proven ability to self-generate leads through networking and community involvement
  • Experience building and managing a sales pipeline using CRM systems
  • Passion to help people with disabilities obtain freedom, independence and improve their quality of life
  • Experience managing inbound digital leads and maintaining pipeline discipline within a CRM environment, including meeting response time and follow-up standards

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to build trust and demonstrate empathy while delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with professional email etiquette
  • Effective negotiation and ethical sales closing skills
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work safely around machinery, tools, and manufacturing equipment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in an environment that may include exposure to manufacturing equipment, moving mechanical parts, noise, fumes, or varying temperatures, depending on the role.
