Waltonen Engineering is looking for a Vehicle Logistics Engineer to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Engineering analysis/support of military vehicles
- Prepare plans with detailed drawings that include project specifications
- Design and execute engineering to create workable solutions
- Develop engineering calculations, diagrams and technical reports
- Complete required technical and regulatory documents
- Ensure projects are completed on time
- Present analysis results and project solutions to technical leads, senior leaders and clients as necessary
Qualifications
- Experience in vehicle component and/or systems experience preferred
- Specific experience in vehicle logistics engineering
- Experience with NX or Creo preferred but not mandatory
- Previous experience with defense/military vehicles preferred but not mandatory
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
- At least 3 – 5 years related work experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentations
- Advanced skills in critical software applications, such as Microsoft Office and CAD
- Expertise in data and problem analysis, creative problem solving and design thinking
- Only United States Citizens can be considered
- Must possess or be able to obtain security clearance
