What You Drive at DTNA      

    ·       Generate compelling concepts for meeting Customer Value Criteria and program targets.

    ·       Accountable to Lead and Perform feasibility Studies for new Vehicle  / Concepts / Packages

    ·       Evaluate concepts on key impacts, risks and achievement of targets.

    ·       Drive alignment on optimal Concept selection.

    ·       Document the selected concept for efficient Gate 9 activities.

    ·       Focal point for Stakeholder Concept Ideas to align and gain traction toward Assessment and Vehicle Implementation

    ·       Facilitate and achieve alignments /sign-off of vehicle studies & concept(s) between Engineering, Product Strategy, other stakeholders

    ·       Develop and assess concepts to achieve derived technical parameters (Analysis/Packaging/Functional) ​

    ·       Improve competitive market position by staying abreast of state-of-the-art developments in the trucking industry, competitor landscape, and applying new knowledge to vehicle concept development 

    ·       Develop and implement improvement ideas for the process of developing concepts

    Knowledge You Should Bring

    ·       Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering or related field and 5-7  years of relevant experience in commercial vehicle engineering, is required

    ·       Experience with 3D CAD tool Siemens NX or Teamcenter Visualization and vehicle packaging

    ·       Experience leading projects required

    ·       Solid understanding of vehicle-level development using CVDS

    ·       Demonstrated ability to turn customer needs into technical solutions

    ·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills

    ·       An attached resume is required

    Exceptional Candidates Might Have

    ·       Deep understanding of major truck systems and their interactions

    ·       Advanced degree in Engineering or Business

    ·       Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical topics

    ·       Ability to use sound engineering decision making in an ambiguous environment

    ·       Global project experience

    ·    Proficiency with Data visualization and analytics tools
