We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead our vehicle builds with our external manufacturing partners.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive vehicle build schedules.
  • Collaborate with Hardware, Systems, and Software teams to define manufacturing and testing requirements.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to ensure a consistent supply of components and vehicles.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers for both component and vehicle builds.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams to manage documentation requirements.
  • Report on program progress, milestones, and risks to leadership and engineering teams.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience managing complex system builds in the automotive, trucking, or aerospace industries.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling systems from design to full production.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for identifying root causes and leading resolution efforts both on the production line and in the field.
  • Expertise in driving DFx (Design for Excellence) initiatives to ensure reliable, cost-effective systems.

The annual salary range for this full-time position in California is $160,000-$220,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
