VB.NET/VB6 Developer

What you’ll achieve
As a VB.NET/VB6 Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining healthcare applications using legacy and modern Microsoft technologies. You’ll participate in all phases of the software lifecycle with a focus on quality, scalability, and performance—making a meaningful impact in transforming healthcare systems.
You will:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using VB.NET, C#.NET, and VB6

Develop and optimize SQL Server stored procedures

Ensure code quality through design reviews, code walkthroughs, and performance tuning

Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues involving multiple system components

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment

Create technical documentation and support application deployment and maintenance
-
Work with TFS for version control and team collaboration
-
Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentor junior developers

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:
Essential Requirements
-
3 to 6 years of development experience in VB.NET, C#.NET, and VB6

Strong experience with MS SQL Server and writing stored procedures
-
Proven debugging skills and experience resolving complex technical issues
-
Hands-on experience in software design, performance optimization, and code reviews
-
Good understanding of software development principles and best practices
-
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
Desirable Requirements
-
Knowledge of Crystal Reports, FHIR, or Oracle is an advantage

Experience working in the healthcare domain, especially Patient Administration or Secondary Care

Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Exposure to Performance Engineering tools and techniques
