The Role

Description

Dew Software is currently seeking a talented VB.Net Developer to join our team. As a leading player in the Digital Transformation space, we collaborate with Fortune 500 companies to drive their digital innovation and transformation. With a strong global presence and 14 development centers spanning 9 countries, we leverage diverse talent and expertise to deliver exceptional outcomes and support our clients in achieving their strategic objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop VB.Net applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Perform unit testing and debugging of applications
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
  • Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in VB.Net development
Requirements
  • 5 – 6 years of IT industry
  • 3 – 5 years of hands on development experience
  • 3 – 5 years of SQL server experience
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Good interpersonal skills

Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2. At least 9+ years of practical experience in backend development, with a strong command of one or more programming languages like Python, Go or JAVA. 3. Proven experience in designing and developing scalable backend systems for high-traffic applications. 4. Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructures (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud) and container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes). 5. Solid understanding of database systems and data modeling, as well as proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases. 6. Experience with RESTful API design and implementation, and understanding of microservices architecture. 7. Knowledge of security best practices and data protection measures for backend systems. 8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. 9. Excellent team player with good communication and collaboration skills.
