JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute Japanese “gakkai” programs such as seminars, live demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions, in alignment with Marketing and Sales strategy to effectively deliver our messages leveraging the MD-to-MD channel
- Cooperate and coordinate with Abbott colleagues across APAC markets to implement programs for Drs coming to Japan from APAC (to learn via observerships held in Japanese hospitals) and webinars / proctorship opportunities coordinated by APAC countries for Japanese physicians to participate outside of Japan.
- Support Digital messaging initiatives and campaigns in coordination with physical programs
- Support Product Managers with development and management of promotional assets (e.g. leaftlets, digital assets and ads, company-owned website) to ensure adherence to corporate branding guidelines and industry regulations
- Set goals and assess effectiveness of each event based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associates Degree (± 13 years)
Experience/Background
Minimum 3-5 years
Language Requirements
- Native-level Japanese communication and Business-level English communication (writing & speaking)
*This role will primarily use Japanese, but will sometimes require exchange of emails and meetings with international colleagues (APAC, US, EMEA) in English
Preferred professional experience
- Experience in Marketing or Sales of Medical devices or pharmaceuticals
- Experience in coordinating programs (especially large, on-site programs; around 100 attendees or more), seminars, workshop, hands-on and live demonstrations
- Familiarity with digital channels and marketing concepts
