Role: Varicent Sales compensation Analyst
Location: Remote.
Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on Sales Compensation Analyst with expertise in Varicent to support and optimize sales compensation processes. This role involves configuring sales plans, troubleshooting incentive calculations, managing data integrations, and improving compensation workflows. The ideal candidate will work closely with Finance and Sales Operations to ensure accurate and efficient commission processing.
• Sales Plan Configuration: Build and maintain sales compensation plans within Varicent.
· Data Integration & Processing: Manage data flow between CRM (Salesforce), ERP (SAP/Workday/NetSuite), and HRIS, ensuring data accuracy.
· Incentive Calculation Troubleshooting: Identify and fix errors in commission calculations, ensuring timely and accurate payouts.
· Process Optimization: Streamline and simplify compensation processes to reduce manual workload.
· Reporting & Analytics: Develop compensation reports and dashboards to provide insights into performance and payouts.
· System Enhancements: Work with IT teams to improve automation and integrations where needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Support Finance and Sales Operations teams with analysis, issue resolution, and system improvements
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience in sales compensation analysis using Varicent (or similar tools).
· Strong hands-on experience in sales plan configuration, data processing, and commission calculations.
· Ability to troubleshoot and optimize incentive calculation logic.
· Experience integrating compensation data with CRM, ERP, and HRIS systems.
· Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data transformation techniques.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in finance or sales operations.
Familiarity with best practices in sales compensation design and automation.
Knowledge of ETL tools, scripting, or automation for compensation processing
