- Solid knowledge regarding any of the following degrees Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanical-Administrative Engineering, Mechanical-Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mechatronics.
- Graduation date January 2027 or later
- English at intermediate level, Spanish at advanced level.
Roles and Responsibilities
- The mechanical designer is in charge of developing, through analysis, design test and integration, mechanical solutions that meet key stakeholders’ requirements. Due to his/her design experience, it is expected to execute those tasks under guidance of an assigned program leader and mentors.
- The mechanical designer is the owner of technical & business substantiation of our projects and must present such substantiations on internal and external boards.
- The mechanical designer is the responsible for communicating project status, business issues or meaningful information that interferes with project's fulfillment.
- The mechanical designer demonstrates a solid mechanical background that allows him/her to hold technical discussions with other personnel or teams and to assure the quality of his/her own work.
- The mechanical designer prepares invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business.
- The mechanical designer assures proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to explain technical information to others.
