Your Opportunity:
Venture Solutions, a Taylor company, is looking for a Data Processor to join our team in Arden Hills, MN. In this role, you will support mail clearance, letter shop operations, postal compliance, data processing, quality assurance, and daily mail processing activities. This position works closely with production, sales, management, postal personnel, and vendor partners to help ensure mail is processed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
FISMA Requirement:
This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support mail clearance, letter shop, sales, and management teams as a mail processing and postal operations resource.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and profitability within mail processing methods and workflows.
- Learn, document, and support mail clearance processes.
- Learn, document, and support Monticello software processes.
- Train staff as specific needs arise and as opportunities present themselves.
- Support quality assurance activities related to mail preparation, mail processing, and production accuracy.
- Identify and troubleshoot postal issues related to mail preparation, mail piece design, mail sortation, and mail piece attributes.
- Work with Data Processing on presort report issues and process improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate the daily processing and shipment of mail.
- Assist management with department operations.
- Interact with on-site postal personnel, local BMEU supervisors, and mail piece design analysts.
- Maintain working knowledge of PostalOne, e-Induction, Seamless Acceptance, and applicable USPS mailing requirements.
- Use the Domestic Mail Manual, DMM, as a resource to support mail operations and postal compliance.
- Consult with the Venture Postal Compliance Officer on issues or concerns related to postal regulations.
- Work closely with commingle and presort vendors, including PBPS, OnTrac, King Solutions, and other vendor partners.
- Review daily service level agreements and due-out reporting to help ensure mail is processed and shipped on time.
- Partner with Lettershop management to address areas of concern and keep production moving.
- Attend educational events related to mail produced by Venture Solutions, including industry and postal education opportunities when applicable.
- Participate in local postal and mailing organizations when appropriate, including PCC and MMA.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Shift: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
You Must Have:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in mail processing, data processing, postal operations, production support, letter shop operations, or a related production environment.
- Ability to communicate, read, and write English clearly.
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow documented processes and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to review reports, identify issues, and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Ability to work independently while supporting team and department goals.
- Strong organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on production schedules and business needs.
We Would Also Prefer:
- Experience with PostalOne.
- Experience with e-Induction and Seamless Acceptance.
- Knowledge of USPS postal regulations and the Domestic Mail Manual, DMM.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $54,000-64.000. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
