Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Operations Manager I-III based at our Berea, KY location.

What you will do:

• Oversee all aspects of production, including manufacturing, packaging, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operations.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and deliver products that meet quality standards and customer requirements.

• Monitor and manage cost center budgets, identifying opportunities for efficiency, savings, and strategic investments in technology and process improvements.

• Develop and execute short- and long-term workforce and capital plans to support operational growth and sustainability.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and promote a culture of excellence.

Level II & III (in addition to the above):

• Set operational priorities to meet both short- and long-term business goals.

• Prepare, monitor, and manage departmental expense budgets to achieve financial and operational targets.

• Drive strategic initiatives that position the operation as a world-class, cost-effective production environment.

What you will need:

Level I:

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).

• 5+ years of progressive experience leading teams and projects of significant size and scope.

Level II:

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).

• 7+ years of operations and management experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Level III:

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).

• 8+ years of operations and management experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Skills, Experience & Abilities     

• Operations Leadership: Strong foundation in production management, budgeting, workforce planning, and operational safety

• Continuous Improvement: Experience implementing or leading Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement initiatives.

• Team Development: Proven ability to mentor, coach, and build high-performing teams.

• Business Strategy: Skilled at aligning operations with organizational goals to achieve long-term growth and efficiency.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in data analysis, production systems, and standard business software.
