Position Overview:
The Managed Care Analyst, Market Access is responsible for facilitating and managing the entire contract life cycle of Managed Care contracts. This position works closely with Insulet’s Field Sales Representatives, Inside Sales Representatives and Account Managers in developing and maintaining agreements that provide medical providers and patients with access to our products and services while aligning with Corporate’s goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:

Order entry functions, including but not limited to:
-
Review and input all inbound purchase orders for accuracy and ensure timely processing; explore ideas of ways to automate approvals and status updates

Continue to track and analyze order inquiries and evaluate trends to minimize errors

Determine better communication methods for resolving order inquiries within 30-days

Rebates validate, payment processes, and data reporting, including but not limited to:
-
Responsible for processing Wholesaler/Distributor fees, Specialty Pharmacy fees, PBMs rebates, and State Medicaid rebates, This includes generating data reports that are in line with existing systems and financial processes. Additionally, you would provide support for rebate validation and analysis functions that are related to the monthly and quarterly rebate payment process.

Develop and maintain excellent internal and external customer, third-party vendor and stakeholder partnerships to provide exceptional support and positive interactions. Clear, concise, and well organized written and verbal communications to resolve customer rebate payment inquiries and disputes.

Ability to interpret contractual language and provide support on Managed Care contracts through the development, approval, and signature procedure.

Assist with audits relating to orders, Commercial, Medicare Part D, and federal contracts.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

Experience / Knowledge in medical devices (preferred); life sciences / biotech; health care
Preferred Skills and Competencies:

Strong attention to detail

2+ years of data analysis and support experience

High proficiency with MS office tools (especially Excel)

Experience with Tableau or other similar business intelligence tool is a plus

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, solid teamwork / collaborative attitude as well as strong analytical and investigative skills.

US Health insurance industry or relative experience preferred

knowledge of managed care customers, diabetes industry or medical device environment is a plus

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks timely

Ability to flourish in a complex and rapidly evolving workplace

Business travel as required; approximately 5% travel

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $74,900.00 - $112,550.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
