Position Overview 

Diligent is looking for an experienced Value Engineer to join the team and work on key accounts to develop opportunities for prospects and customers. This position will leverage our GTM, and value drivers established through combining people, process, and technology. This resource will command a path of ensuring any mutually agreed outcomes established with customers are built through rigorous adaptation to measurable success. 

Through a balanced program of assessment, investigation, and value modelling these outcomes will be managed from inception to fruition via the Business Value Consulting program. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Develop and present clear and concise Business Cases and Value Assessments: 
  • Proven ability to unearth business requirements & Drivers. 
  • Proven ability to map business drivers & initiatives to technology offering & differentiators. 
  • Proven ability to articulate validated business value. 
  • Gathering and analyzing in-depth business, technical, and financial information to understand the baseline and future capability of the client proposition. 
  • Conducting gap analyses of clients’ current versus desired states, identifying specific opportunities for benefit realisation.  
  • Drive adoption and enablement of the business value framework across the wider Diligent ecosystem, supporting the teams on the customers end to end journey of sales through to customer success and value realization. 
  • Ability to review and support POCs, and project planning involving Diligent technologies to incorporate Proof of Value messaging. 
  • Active participation in thought leadership, creating whitepapers, industry specific GTM materials and leading internal initiatives. 
  • Delivers training for other Engineers as part of enablement efforts.   
  • Enablement of Presales and Sales organization around Value Based Selling deliverables, processes, and best practices. 
  • Articulates and evangelizes industry and business trends relevant to Diligent's go-to market strategy. 

Required Experience/Skills  

  • Extensive experience in product management, with a strong background in developing and managing Data SaaS products. 
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. 
  • Strong experience partnering with a sales force who follow a strict sales methodology (MEDDIC/MEDDPIC). 
  • Adaptive mindset and ability to drive out a meaningful path to how our customers see tangible business value. 
  • Able to provide clear analysis and modelling of ROI (Return of Investment) and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) concepts to justify business cases. 
  • Ability to build relationships both internally and externally to understand the underpinning needs of Diligent in terms of delivering proposed business value.

$99,000$124,000 CAD
