Position: Reactive Value Chain Administrator
Work Location: Clark, Philippines
Job Requirement:
· Candidate must have a College Degree.
· Must have 0-2 years of experience in logistics.
· Thorough working knowledge of statutory importation regulations and best industry practices, application of principles, concepts,
practices, and standards. Professional certification would be an advantage.
· Ability to handling numerous tasks within limited timeframes in a structured manner.
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Possess positive attitude and a team player.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to clearly communicate with the Supply Chain Team, other departments, and the
Executive Management.
· Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook
· Sense of Urgency and specific communication in tasks and target setting.
· Professionalism – TRT employees’ people to deliver outcomes not to fraternize.
· Resilience – Client needs can change in an instance, so TRT employees are required to reprioritize and customize based on such changes.
· Obsession with Details – attention to detail sets us apart for other providers and helps our client to best manage financial operational and compliance risks.
While experience in supply chain is preferred it is not mandatory and especially not so when the delivery times not measured in hours. World Class client service is key in the VCA role.
Key Deliverables:
The RVCA is responsible for producing the following deliverables:
- Serve as a single point of coordination between customers (internal and external) and the Philippines
- Bureau of Customs (equivalent in every global location) to ensure service commitments are achieved and maintained in accordance with client and company objectives.
- Obtain Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate, arranging delivery, and insuring invoicing for services is completed accurately and within the timeframe consistent with the import account and company policy.
- Interface with and provide guidance to Business Development, Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, etc. in meetings relating to overseas activity or planned activities. Recommend a course of action to
- Management regarding business planning issues and disseminate information regarding export and import control issues to Management with the goal of improving operational synergies and expanding the company’s revenue from customs services
- Provide excellent and timely customer service by proactively informing clients of the status of their shipments using judgment and knowledge, referring more technical questions to the Team Lead for response.
- Submit weekly permit user fees and status reports. Implement and maintain metrics on export and import compliance related statistics aimed at reducing operating costs
- Serve as the primary customs resource for branch staff, customers, or prospects
- Maintain working knowledge of both current and pending customs and other agency regulations and
- policies. Alert and work closely with branch staff, customers, or prospects on new compliance or
- regulatory issues
- Management of Inventory Levels in conjunction with the Warehouse Managers located in our 10 main warehouses and over 30 Service Partner warehouses, including:
- Check-in & out of inventory
- Organizing and cataloguing of stock items
- Stock reconciliations on a quarterly basis
- Manage the complete supplier’s lifecycle including:
- Selection and evaluation
- Quoting & ordering
