Summary:


In this role, you will lead strategic value analysis initiatives that help healthcare clients optimize clinical outcomes, improve operational efficiency, and achieve sustainable cost savings. You will provide expert consultation to clients while advancing internal value analysis strategies, methodologies, and best practices. You will collaborate with clinical, supply chain, and executive leaders to identify opportunities, implement evidence-based solutions, and deliver measurable value across healthcare organizations.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead strategic value analysis initiatives to improve clinical quality, cost efficiency, and operational performance for healthcare clients.
  • Develop and execute value analysis strategies that align with client objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Provide expert consultation on clinical product utilization, standardization, supply chain optimization, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Collaborate with clinical, supply chain, finance, and executive leaders to identify and implement cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze clinical, financial, and operational data to evaluate product performance, identify trends, and support strategic recommendations.
  • Guide clients in establishing, enhancing, and sustaining effective value analysis programs, governance structures, and processes.
  • Develop standardized methodologies, tools, and best practices to strengthen internal consulting capabilities and service delivery.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to support change management, stakeholder engagement, and successful implementation of value analysis initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, measure initiative outcomes, and communicate results and recommendations to client and internal leadership.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in healthcare value analysis, contributing to strategic planning, service innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:


  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience in healthcare value analysis, clinical supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or healthcare consulting.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical product evaluation, utilization management, and evidence-based value analysis methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that improve clinical, financial, and operational outcomes.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including clinical, supply chain, finance, and executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience interpreting complex data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse client audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives, navigate organizational change, and deliver measurable results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with healthcare analytics, reporting, or business intelligence tools.
  • The candidate needs to be in Philadelphia area with occasional travel to the Philadelphia office as business needs arise.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
