Vaccine Strategic Partnership Manager will be handling in relation to our National Immunization Program (NIP) strategic initiatives, particularly for our Pfizer vaccines, which include Prevenar20(PCV vaccine), Comirnaty(COVID vaccine), and Abrysvo(RSV vaccine)
The Strategic Partnership Manager plays a vital role in leading and executing key initiatives by managing crucial relationships with government stakeholders. This includes the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), National/Regional government stakeholders, the Public Procurement Service (PPS) and etc. Their primary focus is to shape the external policy and regulatory environment, ensuring equitable access to our vaccines.
This position directly reports to Primary Care Lead and closely coached by Vaccine Strategic Partnership Lead in Primary Care TA.
This role will collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Corporate Affairs, SHP, GSC, and Legal teams.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Government Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key government entities, including KDCA, regional governments, and PPS, to influence policy and secure favorable environments for vaccinations.
- Vaccine Environment Shaping: Develop and implement initiatives that raise disease awareness working with medical society, government stakeholders to ensure equitable access to vaccines and supporting policy improvements.
- Market and Situation Intelligence: Monitor NIP-related policy changes, competitive landscape, and regional vaccination trends to inform strategic decisions and identify new opportunities.
- Regional Government Partnership Development: Collaborate with regional governments to design and create Provincial Immunization Programs (PIP) and region-specific strategies that increase vaccine uptake and strengthen healthcare professional and consumer preference in preparation for regional demand surveys under NIP.
- Tender and Contract Management: Communicate effectively with the Public Procurement Service (PPS) to manage tender processes, while strategically overseeing agreements with distribution partners to maintain compliance, secure supply continuity, and support NIP objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Corporate Affairs, SHP, GSC, and Legal teams to align strategies, and deliver integrated solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Preferably 5 years or above experiences in the pharmaceutical industry
