The Opportunity

This role forms part of our 12-week paid summer Vacation Program, that runs between November 2025 – February 2026.  Fugro’s Vacation Program is a key recruitment strategy for our future Graduate offers and creates a platform and opportunity for you to gain hands on experience to determine if this career direction is for you, whilst equally showcasing your ability, motivation, and attitude to our team.

As a Vacation Student – Software Engineer, here are some of the things you will get to be involved in:

• Creating bespoke software to solve new and existing problems, integrating with existing software
• You will get exposure to:
  • Database management
  • Remote hardware communication
  • Web development
  • DevOps

About You

Your success in securing this role will require:

• Ideally be in your penultimate year of your degree
• An interest in software and engineering
• Ability to communicate well
• A deep sense of curiosity with a keen interest to learn and grow
• Good teamworking skills
