L'environnement du poste


Our Logistics Division supports major aerospace and industrial clients by providing warehouse operations, manufacturing support, supply chain support and cutting-edge process and storage solutions.

To support our international growth, we are offering a VIE opportunity for a Logistics Project Engineer to work on continuous improvement and warehouse optimisation projects in Barcelona Spain for at least 12 months.

Reporting to the Managing Director, your main tasks could include:
•    Working on continuous improvement projects, optimising space and workflows.
•    Implementing new storage equipment and overseeing installations.
•    Time measurements and productivity calculations of existing and new activities.
•    Creating and documenting new operational procedures.
•    Training operational staff on new processes and best practices.
•    Optimising existing workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

You will be analytically minded but not rigid:

•    Clearly visualising and explaining findings and future improvements.
•    Using data-driven analysis to assess the current state ("AS-IS") before implementing changes.
•    Presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders, adapting communication to different audiences.
•    Collaborating with all levels of the organisation, from senior project engineers to shop floor staff.
•    Working closely with customers, requiring strong interpersonal skills.
This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics project management while working in an international environment.

PROFILE
Recently graduated (or final year) in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 
Strong analytical skills and an interest in process optimisation and continuous improvement. 
Proficiency in Excel (knowledge of WMS/TMS, SAP/Reflex is a plus). 
Languages: B1 English minimum (due to frequent customer interactions). Fluent Spanish.
Eligible for the VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise) programme (French nationality).
 Willingness to relocate internationally and work in a multicultural environment.

Skills Required
