Join our growing global design team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Sojern’s Travel Marketing Platform. As a UX/UI Designer, you will collaborate with talented teammates worldwide to deliver intuitive, data-driven solutions that empower travel marketers. This role is central to enhancing the user experience of our platforms, dashboards, and automated reporting tools, ensuring our products meet the needs of a diverse, global user base.

You’ll work directly with customers, conducting interviews and usability testing to gather feedback and uncover insights that inform your designs. What you will do:

  • Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, Client Success, and Engineering teams to design user-centric features and workflows for Sojern’s internal and external platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Design experiences aimed at improving user activation, retention, and expansion metrics, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs.
  • Partner with Product and Commercial teams to design features that support pricing tiers, packaging strategies, and role-based access control for different customer segments or verticals.
  • Develop intuitive, engaging first-time user experiences and self-service onboarding flows to streamline adoption and drive product engagement.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma, ensuring they align with product requirements and user needs.
  • Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys, to gather insights that inform design decisions.
  • Develop scalable, responsive designs optimized for complex data visualization and reporting interfaces.
  • Maintain and enhance Sojern’s product design system to ensure consistency across all platform elements.
  • Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity throughout the design process, ensuring our products meet the needs of a diverse audience.
  • Collaborate with Engineers to ensure seamless implementation and adherence to design specifications.
  • Analyze usage metrics, user feedback, and industry trends to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
  • Present designs and findings to stakeholders and incorporate feedback iteratively.
  • Become a vocal advocate for great design at Sojern, including assisting with occasional presentations to other teams about ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Work independently across multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

What you bring to the table: 

  • MUST have an online portfolio of relevant work examples.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related subject (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably focused on SaaS platforms, subscription-based products, or enterprise applications.
  • Expertise in Figma and a strong understanding of its features.
  • Experience designing in-app messaging workflows, product tours, and data-heavy interfaces with a focus on usability and visualization.
  • Strong knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Solid understanding of SaaS metrics (e.g., churn, retention, engagement) and how design decisions impact business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for product design.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) to bridge the gap between design and development.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
  • Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical project milestones and deadlines.
  • BONUS Points for fluency in more than one language, exposure to machine learning or AI-driven product design, experience designing for B2B platforms, data analytics tools, or travel-related products.
