At eMed, we’re building the future of digital healthcare. As a fast-growing startup, we combine innovation, speed, and heart to create tools that empower people to take control of their health. We’re looking for a highly collaborative UX/UI Designer to join our team in Miami, Florida, and help shape exceptional user experiences through scalable, elegant design systems.

  • Set up and maintain complex, multi-themed design systems in Figma from the ground up.
  • Merge and manage design libraries, refining and optimizing components as needed.
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
  • Attention to detail to create pixel-perfect, responsive designs
  • Collaborate daily with engineers to bring designs to life with clarity and consistency.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Create and maintain user flows
  • Quickly adapt to evolving priorities and keep moving forward with a positive attitude.
  • Contribute to a team culture of openness, feedback, and mutual respect.
  • Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Translate research findings into actionable design solutions.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to visualize design concepts.
  • Understanding of design system tools and technologies.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of deep Figma expertise, with a proven ability to architect full design systems from scratch.
  • A naturally collaborative spirit, eager to partner with engineers and product stakeholders.
  • Confidence in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment.
  • A portfolio that highlights design depth and systems thinking and mobile app design experience
  • Clear, thoughtful communication and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience in Webflow, motion graphics and Protopie (or other similar software) is a plus
