Are you passionate about creating intuitive and user-friendly experiences that make a real difference? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where your ideas can come to life? If so, we'd love for you to join our awesome team at evenito, the leading event management solution!

With a focus on enterprise-grade security, they enable event planners to bring virtual, hybrid & in-person events to life quickly, allowing them to focus on creating memorable event experiences for demanding audiences.
Tasks
Your mission:

As the first UX/UI Designer, you'll be instrumental in shaping the user experience of their B2B SaaS product. You'll work closely with their engineers to transform user needs into a visually appealing and intuitive design, ensuring their platform is a joy to use.
Your impact:

  1. You'll elevate the UX/UI of our product: You'll expand, refine and unify our current design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across our platform.
  2. You'll become the expert on our users: You'll deeply understand their needs and behaviors, championing their perspective throughout the product development process.
  3. You'll design new functionalities and improve existing user journeys: You'll design and iterate on new features and optimize user flows, directly contributing to user satisfaction and product success.

What you’ll do:

Elevate the UX/UI of their product

  • Develop and document our current design system and component library, providing guidelines for the product and engineering team.
  • Implement this design system in at least 50% of existing product interfaces within the first 6 months.
  • Create and maintain user personas and journey maps, guiding product and engineering teams in their decision-making processes.

Become the expert on their users

  • Increase the number of user feedback sessions conducted by all product teams to 4 per week within the first 6 months.
  • Present key user insights to the product and engineering teams on a monthly basis.
  • Introduce and implement a user feedback collection system, regularly analyze incoming data, and share insights with the team.

Design new functionalities and improve existing user journeys

  • Create prototypes and wireframes to explore different design solutions for new features or improvements to existing ones.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritize features based on user value and business goals.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback on new functionalities and improved user journeys through surveys, user interviews, and usability testing.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on design skills: Proficiency in Figma, including component design, prototyping, and UI implementation.
  • User-centric approach: Strong user research skills, including conducting user interviews, usability testing, and synthesizing findings.
  • Collaborative spirit: Experience working directly with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication: Strong presentation and storytelling skills to effectively communicate design decisions and research findings.
  • Iterative design expertise: Experience in improving existing designs based on data and user feedback, rather than building from scratch.
  • Data-driven mindset: Ability to analyze data, visualize insights, and use data to inform design decisions.
  • Languages: Fluent in German, proficient in English.
  • Industry experience: Ideally previous work experience in B2B SaaS.

The ideal candidate is:

  • Results-oriented: Driven by achieving results, not by designing pixel-perfect UIs
  • Collaborative: Able to work closely with the product managers and engineers
  • Pragmatic: Knows to balance trade-offs when collaborating with the team
  • Takes ownership: You drive the projects you’re on, instead of following the crowd

Why you will love working here:

  • Be part of a dynamic team with a strong team spirit and a great sense of humor: They are a passionate group who are transforming the event industry through digitalization
  • Enjoy a value-oriented company culture with flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths: Your ideas and contributions will be valued and heard
  • Take on a diverse range of tasks with a high degree of personal responsibility: You'll have the opportunity to shape your role and make a real impact
  • Benefit from flexible work arrangements, including home office options: We believe in work-life balance and offer 30 vacation days per year, plus an extra day for each year of service
  • Grow with us: We offer opportunities for professional development and advancement within our growing company
  • Familial working atmosphere in an open-minded multinational team
  • Working remotely (from Romania)
  • All necessary equipment
  • A budget for professional improvement (courses, conferences, books…)
  • A budget for multi benefits platform (meal tickets, private medical insurance, private pension, etc)
  • Premium private medical subscription with nationwide coverage
  • Budget for the mastery of the English and German languages
  • Skilled and senior co-workers
  • Opportunities to learn and grow with us

If you are looking for an environment where you can grow professionally, learn from the best in the field, balance work and life habits and have a pleasant and enthusiastic environment, please submit your CV in English.
