What’s the role?
We are looking for our very first UX writing intern! Newbies looking for a break or content professionals planning a career switch, we have an amazing opportunity for you to work alongside our product-design and UX content team. Besides a first-hand experience of how language shapes product at Jar, you get to learn the ropes of UX writing and deep dive into user experience. What will be your responsibilities?
- Work with UX writers on creating end-to-end content experience.
- Research and test content to improve overall comprehension.
- Collaborate with designers to create simple, conversational and clear user journeys.
- Talk to users to gather insights and turn them into actionable content plans.
What are we looking for?
- A love for the written word and a penchant for grammar.
- An understanding of UX and design fundamentals and awareness of latest UX writing trends and practices.
- Ability to deliver quick solutions and iterations.
- Good to have but not compulsory - a background in content writing, copywriting, media, language, or communication.
- Problem-solving skills that extend beyond writing, with the ability to identify variables and create solutions with brevity and clarity.
