We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal.
The vision of the B2C/D2C Ordering team is to help our partners and customers win with consumers who want to buy premium products online. The mission is to provide consumers with an industry-leading consumer experience that allows them to seamlessly purchase premium complete spectacles or extended reality products through an online channel. To achieve this, the team is working on a B2B2C platform based on validated consumer needs.
In this role you will be instrumental to create a consumer experience for a premium shopping and shape the sales channel mix for ZEISS Vision Care:
Your Role
Designing user journeys and interfaces for our ordering platform, thinking in a conversion-optimized way and paying attention to cross-platform and cross-product consistency in the design language
Developing wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts
Collaborating with the wider UX team to create user-centered designs that meet the needs of consumers
Ensuring consistency and adherence to the corporate design systems and brand guidelines
Participating in design reviews and providing feedback to improve design quality
Staying up-to-date with emerging design trends, technologies, and digital accessibility criteria as well as human interface guidelines
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Experience Design, or a related field
- Around 5 years of experience in UXUI design, with a focus on E-Commerce and omnichannel concepts (B2B2C/B2C) resulting in a portfolio that demonstrates:
- A broad design skillset ranging from generating high-level concepts to translating them into valuable and implementable digital products
- Strong understanding of UI design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop & Illustrator
- Experience in translating research findings and user insights into practical design solutions
- Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, and tools like Azure DevOps
- Experience with applications using augmented reality (AR) and/or virtual reality (VR) apps is an advantage not a must
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively in a team
- Experience with cross-functional and international project teams
- Fluency in English (German is a plus)
