Job Description:
Due to the continued growth of our R&D department, we are looking to add to our team of UX/UI Designers in our Cambridge office. This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office (Thursdays and Fridays).
What will I be doing:
This role will see you designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI based on user needs as well as conducting user research, usability tests, and experiments to refine designs. In addition you will:
- Maintain, enforce, and expand existing design systems and internal processes.
- Communicate and collaborate with the UI development team to create viable products for testing
- Work with the technical teams to balance user needs, business value, and technical feasibility.

What experience do I need:
We encourage applications from individuals with a proven track record in UX/UI Design with a passion for understanding user needs and creating products that serve them. You will be an excellent communicator with experience in collaborating with other team members. You'll also likely have the following:
- A robust understanding of the entire product design process, from discovery to testing,
- Experience with design systems for both desktop and mobile platforms,
- Strong familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD and Adobe suite,
- Skill in creating infographics and data visualizations,
- Keen eye for maintaining visual consistency across multiple digital products,
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work,
- A basic understanding of cyber security concepts and common threats such as malware and phishing scams,
- You may also be asked on your familiarity with Darktrace products and technology from available sources (e.g. official website).
