UX/UI Designer

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design or similar relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience designing engaging User Experiences for Web and Mobile.
• Advanced knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
• Able to lead workshops and engage stakeholders across all levels.
• Advanced knowledge of methodologies like Design Thinking, customer journey mapping, interviewing, and presentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience designing within complex systems or data-intensive environments.
• Strategic mindset and strong business acumen to align design work with business objectives.
• Availability to work full-time from 8am to 6pm US Eastern Time.
• English is a requirement, as you will be working directly with US-based clients.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design process for digital products—from discovery and research to production-ready UI.
• Work on international and diverse projects designing highly valuable products that cater to end-users and align with business goals.
• Facilitate collaborative workshops with clients and stakeholders to uncover insights, align goals, and define solutions.
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Synthesize user research findings and translate them into actionable design strategies and UI solutions.
• Collaborate with developers and Project Managers to deliver a high-quality design that can be easily implemented.
• Present and explain design rationale, process, and deliverables to clients with clarity and confidence.
• Maintain high-level quality standards to facilitate the design process for the rest of the team and accomplish client goals and objectives.
• Produce deliverables to be handed off to UI designers.

Tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools.
Methodologies: Design Thinking, journey mapping, usability testing, stakeholder workshops.
